OSERS invites you to view a video to learn firsthand from leading U.S. Department of Education officials about the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Part B final regulations.The video will be aired on the Web on Nov. 16, 2006, at 4:00 p.m. EST and again at 7:00 p.m. EST, and archived for future reference at http://idea.ed.gov.

Some of the topics covered are:

* How IDEA Part B final regulations aligned with the No Child Left Behind Act to ensure students with disabilities receive the same high-quality education as their peers without disabilities.
* How the regulations were developed in response to public comment, and how the complete user-friendly package was created to clarify changes to the final regulations as a result of those comments.

* Answers to some of the most frequently asked questions concerning the final regulations.
